What is 3-D Nipple Tattooing?

3-D Nipple Tattooing and Areola Re-pigmentation is an advanced, unique and highly skilled tattooing technique used to reshape, recolor or reform the nipple.

3-D nipple (areola) tattoos are flat to the touch but have an appearance that make it look three dimensional, even at close distance. They can conceal scarring caused by masectomies and give symmetry to the areola.

3-D Nipple tattooing is a cheaper alternative to reconstruction surgery, which is performed by a plastic surgeon. The areola is the darker round pigment around the papilla (nipple). We often refer to the areola as the nipple itself. Naturally our areolas are not perfect circles. Areola repigmentation allows us to reshape the areola using a variety of advanced tattooing techniques and inks that match your current areola's pigmentation. Does It Hurt?

Unfortunately, a bad part of breast cancer is the nerve damage that comes with the treatments and surgeries. Since most of the nerve is damaged, these services will not cause much pain. For those that have not lost any feeling in or around the nipple, prepare for some discomfort. Paramedical tattooing only rests ink below the skin's surface and does not penetrate as deeply as a normal tattoo do. However, the areola is a highly sensitive area.
