You Deserve A Healing Massage

At the very core, the purpose of massage is generally for the treatment of body stress or pain. There are many types and methods for your specific needs. Massage helps to stimulate blood circulation around your muscles, which increases the flow of oxygen and nutrients to your muscles, leading to increased flexibility. A 2010 study published in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that massage improves immunity by boosting patients’ white blood cell count, which plays a large role in defending the body from disease. Need to reduce stress? When the body is tense and under stress, it produces unhealthy levels of the well-known stress hormone, cortisol, which can contribute to weight gain, sleeplessness, digestive problems, and headaches. Massage therapy has been shown to decrease cortisol levels in the body. This enables the body to enter a recovery mode. Moreover, this form of therapy also triggers lasting feelings of relaxation, improved mood, and reduced stress levels.

What should I wear?

Many people prefer to keep their underwear on during a massage, while others prefer to be nude. It's up to you. Women usually remove their bras to allow the massage therapist to work on the back and shoulder area without getting massage oil or lotion on their undergarments. Proper and professional draping is required at all times for the comfort of the client and the therapist.
